Newton School small brass tray
Description
A brass dish or tray with a repeating fish pattern made by the Newton School of Metal Workers from a design attributed to John Williams, circa 1900.
The Newton School design archive has a number of very similar designs which were all produced by John Williams. This particular piece is very well worked and made of a good gauge of brass. This exact pattern can be found in the archive of designs used by the School.
