Norman and Ernest Spittle brass tray

A brass tray by Norman and Ernest Spittle, circa 1905.

The hand beaten tray, or salver, is made from a heavy gauge of brass . The design is identical to one shown in the Norman and Ernest Spittle and Art Fittings Limited catalogues produced around 1905. The same design is also shown in an advert for Art Fittings Ltd shown in The Studio magazine in 1902.
