J & F Pool copper cigar box
Description
A copper cigar box made by J & F Pool, circa 1905.
The box is cedar wood lined and copper clad with decorative riveted straps for hinges and an all over hand planished finish.
This particular cigarette box appears in the J & F Pool catalogue dating to around 1905 (Design No. 1369) illustrated. The cigar box came in three sizes and this particular box is either the the middle size or the larger size depending on where they took the dimensions from..
In good condition overall with the original finish/patina.
