Yattendon Class tall copper vase
Description
A tall copper vase made by the Yattendon Class, circa 1900.
This was a successful and popular design by Elizabeth Waterhouse for the Yattendon Class. The twin handled vase has a very stylised floral decoration in repousse.
This particular design of vase was exhibited at the 1899 Home Arts and Industries Association exhibition at the Royal Albert Hall. The vase was illustrated in both The Studio (Vol. 17) and The House (No. 29) periodicals that same year.
This particular example is in great condition with a lovely even patina.
