Yattendon Class copper charger
Description
A copper charger by the Yattenddon Class, circa 1900.
This is a fantastic example of a well documented copper charger designed by Elizabeth Waterhouse for the Yattendon Class around 1899. The charger has a repeating pattern of leopards in repousse with simple punched decoration to the edge and around the central bowl section.
This particular design was exhibited at the 1899 Home Arts and Industries Association at the Royal Albert Hall and was illustrated in The Studio that same year (Vol. 17).
The charger is in great condition and it has a nice mellow patina developing.
