Potteries Guild of Cripples copper fire kerb

Description

A very rare copper fire kerb made by the Potteries Guild of Cripples, circa 1905.

Lovely repousse copper design with fruiting pomegranates wrapped around a wooden frame. This piece is a are survivor and is in very used condition. That being said, it is a great example of the early work of the Guild.

The fire kerb is pictured in the Potteries Guild of Cripples catalogue that dates to around 1905.
