Faulkner Bronze Co copper wall light
A copper wall light attributed to the Faulkner Bronze company, circa 1901.
One of my favourite finds this year … this actually made it’s way back from Australia! The copper wall light has a nouveau pattern in repousse and hand planished finish.
The wooden backing may be original to the light fitting. The vaseline shade is original to the period. The light has been professionally set up ready to be fitted by a qualified electrician.
I am pretty sure this wall light can just be made out on the back wall of the attached image showing an exhibition of Faulkner Bronze Co metalworks in 1901 (end of lower row of lights on right hand side).
I thought that having one light by Faulkner Bronze Co was incredible so I was delighted to hear about this one.
