A copper and silver inkstand made by A E Jones, circa 1910.

This is an original design by Jesson, Birkett & Co which has been adapted by A E Jones Ltd. The A E Jones design incorporates a circular silver band to the lid and the base. The piece is not marked but the decorative silver bands are very typical of Jones mixed metal designs around 1910. 

The inkstand has a glass inkwell which is not original.
