Potteries Guild of Cripples copper tray
Description
A copper tray with repousse heart decoration made by the Potteries Guild of Cripples, circa 1905.
Designs at this time were from Mabel R Newey along with her father, and renowned local artist, Harry Foster Newey. They were more in keeping with the Glasgow Style and often featured ceramic roundels.
The tea tray can be seen in the Potteries Guild of Cripples showroom catalogue (No.165), circa 1905.
