Potteries Guild of Cripples copper charger

Description

The second of these chargers I have been lucky enough to find.

A copper charger or plaque with repousse decoration made by the Potteries Guild of Cripples, circa 1905.

This design of repousse flowers and leaves around the edge was used quite commonly by the Guild and I suspect it was one of their more successful designs. It is quite frequently attributed to Liberty & Co! The plaque can be seen in the Potteries Guild of Cripples showroom catalogue (No.572), circa 1905.
