A copper chamberstick attributed to the Gordon Russell Workshops, circa 1925.

The chamberstick is hand planished with a simple punched decoration. The loop handle has lovely detailing and is riveted back on the body. 

The chamberstick is unmarked but is the same basic design as Item 141, a brass chamberstick stamped with “R W Ltd” for the Russell Workshops Ltd. This enables us to date this design reasonably accurately. Russell and Sons Ltd changed its name to Russell Workshops Ltd on 4th November 1927, and again to Gordon Russell Ltd on 28th September 1929.
