Arts and Crafts silver spoon
A large silver spoon in the Arts and Crafts style with red stone cabochon,
A very well made long spoon with a hammered bowl and ornate decoration including a dark red stone, most likely a garnet. The spoon is completely unmarked but tests positive as silver. Elements of the design suggest it may have been made by the Artificers Guild or an independent worker once associated with the Guild. The quality of workmanship is excellent.
Dimensions: 8 1/4″ long by 1 3/4″ at widest point on the bowl
Weight: Approximately 30 grams
Condition: The top section of the spoon is very slightly misshapen and there are one or two fine nicks on close inspection
