A E Jones silver plated cigarette box
Description
A silver plated cigarette box attributed to A E Jones, circa 1905.
The box is characteristic of A E Jones cigarette boxes of this period. The lid has a very nice riveted strap work design with central foil backed blue-green enamel. The legs are also riveted and the whole box has a subtle hammered finish.
The interior of the box is lined with cedar wood and retains it’s original divider.

Dimensions: 8 1/2″ wide, 4″ deep and 2″ high
Condition: Minor loss of silver plating to some edges. The clear lacquer over the enamel has peeled off in one or two spots
