D.S.C.G. silver plated twin handled bowl
Description
A silver plated bowl twin handled bowl made by the Duchess of Sutherland Cripples Guild, circa 1910.
The bowl has a fruiting vine pattern in repousse around the sides and two very nicely made multi-strand loop handles. The fruiting vine design was popular with the Guild and it can be seen on many of the items in their showroom catalogue, circa 1910. This bowl is marked to the underside with the D.S.C.G. makers mark.

Dimensions: 7 1/4″ in diameter by 4″ high. 11″ across at widest point
Condition: The pedestal that attaches to the base of the bowl has been pushed up into the bowl at some time in the past which has left an indent in the centre
