D.S.C.G. silver plated bowl

Description

A silver plated bowl made by the Duchess of Sutherland Cripples Guild, circa 1910.

Most likely a rose bowl, the sides are chased with a fruiting vine pattern that is commonly used by the D.S.C.G. A  sugar bowl shown in the showroom catalogue, circa 1910, is shown with the same chasing. 

The underside of the bowl has the D.S.C.G. makers mark.

Dimensions:    Just under 7 1/4″ in diameter by 4 1/4″ high

Condition:   Some loss of silver plating and a few scratches inside the bowl
