Potteries Guild of Cripples copper fire kerb
Description
A very rare copper fire kerb made by the Potteries Guild of Cripples, circa 1905.
Lovely repousse copper design with fruiting pomegranates wrapped around a wooden frame. This piece is a are survivor and is in very used condition. That being said, it is a great example of the early work of the Guild.
The fire kerb is pictured in the Potteries Guild of Cripples catalogue that dates to around 1905.

Condition: Quite a few small dings and marks. Copper end plate missing on one side
