A bronze bowl made by the Dryad Metal Works, circa 1920.
A lovely example of the hand planished bronze wares made the Dryad Works in Leicester in the 1920’s. This particular design is illustrated in their 192o’s catalogue (No.7432).
The design was also shown in The Studio Yearbook of 1917, page 95, where we discover that the designer was G. E. Usher.
